Jacobs Douwe Egberts are looking for a Legal Manager to support the Dutch market who will be based at their offices in Utrecht. In the Netherlands Jacobs Douwe Egberts sells coffee and tea products branded Douwe Egberts, L’OR, Senseo and Pickwick.
Responsibilities and Key activities:
- Jacobs Douwe Egberts are looking for a Legal Manager to support the growth agenda in their business units in the Netherlands. The incumbent will be a sparring partner for the local management teams.
- The incumbent will be responsible for all legal and compliance affairs in the Dutch business units, including out-of-home and retail units and the manufacturing units with factories in Utrecht and Joure. The incumbent will advise in the area of marketing & innovation, consumer and business law, contract law and on intellectual property and regulatory topics.
- The incumbent will be responsible for the implementation of the global Legal and Compliance strategies, and for ensuring full compliance of the business units with applicable legislation;
- The incumbent will be responsible for outside Legal Counsel Engagements. The successful candidate will cooperate with external legal counsel in strategic litigations in the Dutch market.
